1)
Tell me a little bit about Planar Evil?
max:
Thrash Metal band PLANAR EVIL was assembled during January
2000. In
November 2002 we entered the
Temple
Of
Noise Studios
in
Rome
to craft the demo '
Land
Of
Doom
'. We hold some great shows thrashin' all around and after some line-up
changes we recorded the first full length album "Mankind Way Of
Life" out now.
2) What is Planar
Evil? music, members...
max:
PLANAR EVIL started as a thrash-trio in Venom style but later we decided
to get a more powerful sound. So now the band is composed by Mark Evil
(vox and guitar), Max (bass and ignorant chorus), Antonio (lead guitar)
and Amilcare (drums).
As for our music, we are old school thrash metal oriented, more towards
the American scene I think.
3) What about the
record? When did you guys start to recorded it? & Why you guys named
it like that?
max:
We started to work on "Mankind Way Of Life" in February 2007
but we entered the studios in
Rome
only in August. It took different recording sessions, in October too and
we spent a long time to mix so the cd were ready in February 2008. I can
proudly say that we are very satisfied with the production at
Temple
of
Noise
studios.
I chose to call the album "Mankind Way Of Life" because it
expresses and contains different human ways of life, especially the
wrong ones.
4) What can we
expect from Planar Evil in the next couple of years?
max:
We are working on new songs and we are going to take part to some
festivals and to hold some concerts. Moreover we are having some
agreement with a label to reprint "Mankind Way Of Life"
because the first edition (400 copies) is nearly sold out. So we'll
probably have a new edition in 2009 with better graphics and style.
5) Tell me about the
ITALIAN THRASH ATTACK support?
max:
I think I'm doing a great work in supporting and promoting the italian
thrash metal scene with the ITALIAN THRASH ATTACK space. It's a place
where you can keep in touch with all the scene, keep yourself updated
about their activity, concerts and so on.. |
