Planar Evil from Italy plays thrash metal to the bone. After a short intro (simply called ‘intro’) the song “Land of Doom” starts. The music is quite aggressive, with some slight melodic influences. Nice guitarriffs, which sound a bit like a combination between Teutonic and Bay-area thrash, sometimes like old Slayer and sometimes Destruction. The thing I dislike a bit are the vocals by Mark Evil. His accent is just like the Rhapsody-dude (bah) but more aggressive off course! Like the first vocals of the song “In front of the Storm”, I want to see some improvements next time! Luckily for me it’s not modern, but on the other hand the originality is quite low. If they come with some more original riffs next time they can create a nice album!
